IMB & SFB 1361 - UNIST Symposium

IMB & SFB 1361 - UNIST Symposium

IMB has recently become a partner institute of the Ulsan National Institute for Science and Technology (UNIST, Ulsan, South Korea) in a Korea-EU Collaborative Research Project. This collaboration aims to foster scientific exchange in the areas of genome stability, chromatin dynamics, and epigenetics. Our Korean partners are Prof. Anton Gartner, Prof. Jayil Lee, Prof. Seong Woo Cho, and Prof Hajin Kim. Their research interests range from single-molecule and single-cell technology to C. elegans genetics and genomics and CRISPR genome editing.

As a kick-off event, our Korean partners will be visiting IMB from 9 to 11 February 2025 for a Mini-Symposium. During this Symposium, we are organising a selection of short talks, individual meetings, poster presentations, and two dinners for networking and building collaborations.
